Text Box: Customer Service
Thanks to Becky Folck, skilled employee at the Caterpillar Mossville facility, for her daily customer service efforts. We recently received a note from one of our customers complimenting Becky on her job performance. The customer writes, “I know she is doing her job, but she is really just a big help for Dan and I whatever we ask of her.” According to this customer, Becky “is just the greatest!”

Thank you
Our customer at the Caterpillar Pontiac facility wishes to thank Tammy Morris for her help. The customer notes that Tammy has a great grasp of what is going on with the Caterpillar tool crib and runs a tight ship. She is commended for her dedication and high work standards. Way to go, Tammy!

Pride in a Job Well Done
Greg Turner, Unit Manager at John Deere in the Quad Cities, wishes to thank his team at the John Deere Harvester facility for the hard work they did in an unusual demolition project. This project took a lot of hard work jack hammering; cutting the rerod, screen, and corrugated that was part of the concrete floor; and shoveling up the debris and hauling it away. The team accomplished this in the time frame required, while still working on their regular jobs of painting, concrete polishing, filter changing, and all other support services. This exceeded our customer’s expectations. We are proud of your efforts and the results you accomplished!

Lending a Helping Hand
Special recognition goes to Erik Myers and Howard Hill, laborers at the John Deere Harvester facility, for their efforts in assisting a Deere employee when his fork truck load spilled onto the road. Erik and Howard stopped what they were doing and went over without being asked to help the driver pick up and restack the load. This was done outside in 98O weather! Thanks also to Deere maintenance supervisor, Ted Zeidler, who noticed this and bought Whitey’s Ice Cream certificates for Erik and Howard as thanks. Way to go, Erik and Howard, and thanks to Ted for the recognition.

An Honest Day’s Work
A big thank you goes to Maria Peralta, general cleaner at the Alcoa facility in Davenport, Iowa, for her honesty and trustworthiness in performing her job. One of the employees at the facility accidentally dropped her wallet out of her purse and left the building without noticing it. The wallet had over $2000 in cash in it. When the employee returned to work the next morning, she found her wallet on her desk, untouched. She knew that Maria had to have seen it because her waste basket was empty. She thanks Maria for her honesty and ethics. Good job, Maria!

Congratulations and Thanks
Jim Adams, Unit Manager, wishes to thank the team in the Caterpillar Decatur facility for their efforts and congratulate Todd Wright on his promotion to Supervisor.

Another Successful Season
Jim Adams, Unit Manager, passes on a large “thank you” to the One Shot crew for their extra efforts during a successful shutdown. It was very hot this year and the hours were long. Thanks for hanging in there and doing such a great job!
