Text Box: “Wowing” Our Customer
Special thanks to all of our VSI staff at the Greater Peoria Airport facility. Your efforts were recently applauded by executives from American Eagle Airlines. Here are some of the comments we received: “I must again comment on how much improved the terminal looks. A very nice place for the customers to go through.” “The new cleaning program is a big plus and has made a noticeable difference in the airport’s overall appearance.” “There has been a marked improvement in the overall cleanliness of the airport since your staff arrived and began cleaning the place up!” Wow! What a great way to make a first impression in this new account. Keep up the good work!

Extra Attention Appreciated
Debra Smith, a cleaner at the Caterpillar Morton facility, received a special note of thanks for her work in keeping the Morton facility clean and healthy. This letter was signed by 45 Caterpillar employees! They especially appreciate Debra’s thoroughness in making sure the papers, hand soap, and lotion are always filled in the bathrooms. Good job, Debra! (As a side note, Debra reaches 27 years of service this month! Thanks for your continued dedication after all these years. Wow!)

Down Time Avoided
A customer at the Caterpillar Pontiac facility passes on his thanks to the quick efforts of Tammy Morris, Supervisor. By finding the necessary information to repair a part, Tammy avoided 5 weeks of down machine time. As said by our customer, “It is this kind of efficient and knowledgeable people that make our crib a success.” Thanks, Tammy!

Recognition to Employees in Dr. Singer’s Office
Special thanks to Marie Thompson and Tieneshia Bailey, the VSI employees who clean Dr. Singer’s office in downtown Peoria. The office manager at that facility recently commented that they have really seen an improvement recently, especially in the floor work. She added, “Marie really acts like she cares about what she does and how things look when she is done.” Thanks to both of you for your efforts to keep our customer happy!

Thank you!
One of our customers at the Caterpillar Corinth facility recently passed on thanks to Elaine Stafford for the job she does in keeping their offices clean. Elaine works for VSI as a cleaner at the Corinth facility. Good job, Elaine!

An Example to be Followed

A departing VSI employee recently wrote a letter to our CEO, Jay Vonachen, passing on thanks to co-worker, Hila Rora, who works in the cribs at the Caterpillar Tech Center facility in Mossville, Illinois. The employee thanked Hila for the training she provided and the example she set for others. In particular, Hila was commended on her professional mannerism and her ability to handle the pressure of supplying the customer with parts necessary to keep the customer’s operations running smoothly. Thank you, Hila, for setting a good example for all to follow.
