Perfect Attendance

Special recognition goes to Beverly Cox, Hose Plant cleaner, for not missing a single day of work in five whole years.  This is an unbelievable, outstanding and extraordinary achievement!  Thank you, Beverly, for your extreme dedication and hard work!  You should be very proud of this remarkable accomplishment.

Good Deed Pays Off

Don Ross, VSI cleaner at Caterpillar Morton, found a $2,500 bracelet while vacuuming his area and turned it in to security.  The following day, a Caterpillar employee found Don’s bank card.  Unbeknownst to Don, he had dropped it while picking up the bracelet.   When this customer turned in Don’s bank card, unexpectedly she was presented with her missing bracelet that Don had found.  Thank you for your honesty, Don, and for positively displaying our company’s values.

Maria Peralta has been recognized by an ALCOA Davenport Works customer for doing a fine job.  Maria pays attention to detail and the customer very much appreciates that.  Way to go, Maria!

Extra Effort

One of our customers at the Caterpillar Pontiac facility recently passed on thanks to VSI employee Joy Butler for the extra effort she put forth to recover a part that had just been cleared from the crib based on a 6 Sigma evaluation.  A machine was down and in critical need of this certain part.  Joy knew the parts had been cleared from the crib, but had not been dumped from the tubs yet to be disposed of.  Within 45 minutes Joy found the part, the mechanic then installed it and got the machine running again.  Thanks for the quick response to our customer’s need, Joy!

Pleasing the Customer

One of our customers from Heidi Murdoch’s Commercial Division would like to thank VSI employee Carla McKnight for being such a great employee.  The customer reports that Carla always takes care of all their needs, is always willing to help in any way, and volunteers to participate in company events.     You are very appreciated, Carla, great job!

Comprehensive Cleaning

One of our customers at the Caterpillar Morton facility would like to recognize day porter, Deb Smith.  The customer appreciates the comprehensive job she does.  Deb makes sure everything is clean, well supplied and ready for use.  Our customer says it would not be a concern if they had visitors of great importance stop by and use the restroom, “It’s ready.”  The customer thanks VSI for having personnel of this caliber, who are responsible even though there is no one watching over them.  Nice compliment, Deb, keep up the great work!
